John Mellencamp’s ‘No Better Than This Tour’ just got even better with the addition of new tour dates.
The new tour dates include “Austin City Limits Live” at Moody Theatre April 2; the Jones Hall For The Performing Arts in Houston on April 3; the Temple Buell Theatre in Denver on April 6 and the Nokia Theatre in L.A. on April 8.
The tour, which kicked off in February, is scheduled to run through April 28 at the Stephens Auditorium in Ames, Iowa.
Each tour stop will feature Mellencamp in three different settings: acoustic, small combo and full blown rock show. The opening act is also unique. Instead of featuring an up-and-coming artist, the 2009 documentary “It’s About You,” featuring Mellencamp, Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson will be shown.
